http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gottfried_Wilhelm_Leibniz
Leibniz developed the infinitesimal calculus independently of Isaac Newton, and Leibniz's mathematical notation has been widely used ever since it was published. Leibniz also developed the binary number system, which is at the foundation of virtually all digital computers.

Albert Haynesworth
Albert Haynesworth—who has already collected $32 million from the Washington Redskins despite not yet completing a full season of games—is not a fan of Mike Shanahan's approach to coaching. He is reportedly upset that the two-time Super Bowl winning coach is switching from a 4-3 defense to a 3-4 defense, which will require Haynesworth to line up three feet further to the right than he is comfortable with.
He has $41 mil. more guarenteed.

Oh, and P.S. He nearly blinded a player on the field and almost killed a guy with his car. Just in case you forgot.
Why, just sometimes, it helps to be rich. Or dumb.

Alvin Greene!

Though his victory has baffled many, several explanations have been offered. Some observers, including State Representative Bakari Sellers, have stated that the fact that his name appeared above Vic Rawl may have caused voters who were unfamiliar with either candidate to vote for Greene.[21] South Carolina State Senator Robert Ford claimed that the surname "Greene" is common among African Americans, and suggested that fact may have caused African American voters to identify with him.[21] There has also been speculation that voters may have confused the candidate with soul singer Al Green, whose real name is Albert Greene. [22]
Journalists and politicians have theorized that Greene might be a Republican plant. South Carolina Democratic party officials have noted that in 1990 a political consultant recruited an African-American challenger to run against white front-runners in South Carolina's Democratic primary for lieutenant governor in an effort to undermine their election prospects. The possibility has also been raised that Greene was put up by non-partisan political consultants that were bored. Nu Wexler, the former executive director of the South Carolina Democratic Party, commented "You have consultants doing this kind of thing just because they get bored, and they want something to tell good stories about. It's almost like fraternity pranks."[23]

Willie O'Ree
Willie O'Ree is a retired professional ice hockey player, known best for being the first black player in the National Hockey League. O'Ree played as a winger for the Boston Bruins. He is frequently but erroneously referred to as the first African American player; while he is black, he is in fact Canadian born and remains a Canadian national. Additionally, O'Ree is referred to as the "Jackie Robinson of ice hockey" due to breaking the colour barrier in the sport. Willie also has a visual impairment.

Pastas and a cheese
Capunti is a short pasta (inch and a half long) that sort of looks like a small canoe.
Maccheroni is fucking maccaroni, like that found in Kraft dinner.
Pecorino is the name of a family of hard Italian cheeses made from sheep's milk. The word derives from pecora meaning ‘sheep’.
Agrodolce is a traditional sweet and sour sauce in Italian cuisine. Its name comes from "agro" (sour) and "dolce" (sweet). Agrodolce is made by reducing sour and sweet elements, traditionally vinegar and sugar. Sometimes, additional flavorings are added, such as wine, fruit, or even chocolate. The sauce is thought to have been brought to Sicily by the Arabs.

Cuttlefish (link) Cuttlefish are much more closely related to garden slugs and snails than they are to fish! They belong to the same group of animals as the octopuses, squid and nautilus and like a snail they are all molluscs.
Cuttlefish are unique within this group in that they have a gas filled bone within their bodies which allows them to be buoyant... you may have seen cuttlebones before, sticking out from the bars on a budgie's cage? The bone is within the body part of the animal called the mantle and attached to the mantle is a head with eight arms and two feeding tentacles.
Sea Bream are a variety of fish species that are very popular for eating, especially in Europe. Despite their popularity as seafood, sea bream remain very plentiful throughout much of the world and are sometimes considered sportfish. There are species found in various parts of the world. The sea bream are sought after because of their mild, white meat, considered some of the best of any white-meat fish.
